Mondo Yan

The Elders assign the Guardians to guard the Glove of the North in the Magic Fort. Amkko and Koto attack the fort with a Rock-Eating Mutant. The Guardians manage (eventually) to transform into the Dragon, Panther, and Rodent Warriors to drive them off.

The Elders assign the Guardians to master dancing, much to Xia's annoyance. April teaches Xia a move that he uses to defeat a Worm Monster and to earn his mondojitsu Brown Socks.

The Elders assign the Guardians to prepare a big feast. Pai sees this as his chance to impress the Elders and earn a new weapon to replace his Mystic Stick. But when he goes to collect the rare striped carrot (a crucial ingredient for his dish), he's attacked by a Giant Bunny Mutant sent by Negu. His Mystic Stick helps him defeat the Mutant, so he's content with his weapon.

Xia tries to master his transformation into the Dragon Warrior. Negu sends a Mutant Dragon, who decides Xia would be a perfect baby for her. April and Pai get the Mutant Dragon to fall in love with their dragon-shaped ship, the Lord of the Wind.

The Elders assign the Guardians to climb a mountain and ring a bell. Seeing his henchmen distracted by an old video game, Negu sends the game up to the Yan World to distract the Guardians. Xia and Pai become obsessed with the game, stealing it back and forth from each other.

The Elders assign the Guardians to help with heavy gardening, much to Xia's dismay. Negu sends a Giant Beaver Mutant to eat the Yan's world trees, threatening its very survival. Pai has to master cooking Slippery Jade Noodles to get the Mutant to eat something besides trees.

Practicing her Warrior Transformation, April gets stuck as a panther. Using a newly discovered elevator, Negu sends a big Mutant Dog up to chase April's cat. Pai and Xia manage to train the dog, having it fetch Pai's stick and rewarding it with delicious mushrooms.

The Elders assign the Guardians to guard the Magic Fort overnight. Negu sends a mutant that's a clone of Pai. Pai has to defeat himself using his own self-knowledge.

The Elders assign the Guardians to clean the Lord of the Wind. They can't resist riding the annual Surf Winds, but Xia and April end up captured by the Wind Beast. Pai rescues them by repulsing the sensitive Wind Beast with his onion and sulfur-geyser stink.

Mei decides to impress Negu with an art museum. He has the Rock-Eating Mutant pull down old buildings to build the museum. The Guardians' "island" starts to sink. Pai "fishes" for the cause of the sinking and pulls up the Mutant, whom they entice to eat something besides rocks.

Everyone but Pai catches a pox that makes you act like a baby. He has to sail the Lord of the Wind by himself to get a mushroom for the cure, all while caring for the "babies." Negu sends a huge Mutant Toad. Luckily, the toad catches the Baby Pox, too!

Maestro Woof is having trouble sleeping. The Guardians try to cure his insomnia. The other Elders make a sleeping tonic, but Pai mistakes it for lemonade and drinks it. Xia and April discover a Mutant Raccoon from Negu is keeping Maestro Woof awake. Pai "sleep-fights" the raccoon brilliantly, but can't do it when he's awake. Worn out, Maestro Woof falls asleep.

The Elders confiscate the Guardians' weapons until they learn to value each other. Negu sends Ice Poppy, a cute mutant who can shoot ice and freeze you if you look in her eyes. Valuing each other, the Guardians defeat Ice Poppy and earn their weapons back.

Negu decides to attack the Guardians himself with a Mutant Meerkat. The Guardians capture him, and the Elders have Negu locked up near the Magic Fort. The Mutant Meerkat tunnels into the fort so Negu can steal the Glove of the North. The Guardians rush to stop him, but Negu ties them up with his Lasso of Doom - until Pai gnaws through it and temporarily eats the Glove of the North!

The Elders assign lots of chores to the Guardians. To get them to mellow out, Pai prepares a special dish. They become so mellow they start giving away all their possessions. Seeing an opportunity, Negu sends his henchmen to ask for the Glove of the North. Koto and Amkko fail, so Negu sends Mei and the Mutant Raccoon in disguise.

Maestra Saku says today they'll study using the Buddy System. Xia's paired with Saku and has to knit while April and Pai learn much more exciting lessons in the forest. But the knitting lessons pay off when Xia uses his new skills to rescue April and Pai from a giant mutant spider. Xia learns females give excellent advice on fighting!

Fulfilling the Elders' assignment to wrangle clouds, Pai falls in love with a rodent girl named Lol. But Lol proves to be one of Negu's mutants, intent on stealing the Glove of the North.

Negu has his henchmen pump a foul green fog up to the Yan World, forcing the Elders to evacuate the Westerly Breeze. Aboard the Lord of the Wind, Pai fails to impress the Elders and gets "Rocky Rodent" - a crisis of confidence. The Elders have to pump Pai's confidence back up so he can help Xia and April defeat the Worm Monster sent by Negu.

To earn his Orange Underbelt, Pai thinks he's going to fight Xia in a chicken costume. But he ends up having to fight Negu's giant chicken mutant, which can fire toxic eggs!

April tries for Xia's attention, but he's too busy doting on his new pet bird, Peachy Woo. Pai loves his new pet fish, Noodle. April suspects Peachy Woo of being the mutant the Elders have warned the Guardians about, but it turns out to be Noodle!

Xia becomes over-confident after he pulls off an impossible move invented by the Elders. But in his dreams, he keeps losing to mutants! April and Xia have to go into his nightmare and give him advice to conquer his dream enemies.

The Guardians each come up with a gift for Maestra Saku's birthday. A mysterious wooden hedgehog shows up as a gift, which proves to have Koto and Amkko inside! They attack the Magic Fort, but are thwarted by the Guardians when Xia bluffs about the dangers of his gift.

To discover his powers as the Rodent Warrior, Pai goes on a solo night quest. But he keeps seeing the Wolf Warrior (Koto and Amkko in a disguise made by Mei). He runs to tell April and Xia, who don't believe him. He battles the Wolf Warrior, discovering his Rodent Warrior powers (Super-Burrowing and Super-Cheeks) as he reveals Koto and Amkko inside the disguise.

The balance and harmony of the Yan World are knocked out of whack when Negu sends a giant mutant toad to plug up the Waterfall of Life. The Guardians have to drive off the toad and repair the stone lotus through which the water flows. Balance and harmony are restored!
