Villagers of Wolchu-ri, an area expected to submerge, are divided over compensation, and only distrust remains. Kyung-seok Choi, a law professor, appears at the village with solutions.

It is finally confirmed that Wolchu-ri will get compensated, and Pastor Seong sees the villagers trust and follow Choi Kyung-suk.

Wolchu-ri is taken aback by the abuction of chickens in Boong-Eu's poultry farm. As Choi Kyung-suk helps and the villagers' trust in him grows stronger, Lee Jang is annoyed.

Min-cheol enters Wolchu-ri. Villagers are frightened of him, but Chil-sung welcomes him. Young-sun leaves as she is angry to see Min-cheol return home.

Villagers find out about the duality of Kyung-suk. Chil-sung is heartbroken after finding out his wife is diagnosed with lung cancer.

Young-sun gradually believes that she was born to be loved because of Pastor Seong. Meanwhile, Yang Gae-jang hears a secret at Kyung-suk's house.

There are arguments at Wolchu-ri Church about President Koo. Min-cheol shouts that everything is fake, but the villagers do not believe him.

While Young-sun firmly believes in Pastor Seong's words and is hopeful of her future, Min-cheol claims Choi Kyung-seok is the person in the wanted poster.

Rumors spread about a cult society throughout the village. Kyung-suk gives the so-called Living Waters to Chilsung's wife, and somehow her condition is improved.

Kyung-suk offers a job for Young-sun to get away from Min-cheol. Pastor Seong starts praying for Seong-ho, who fainted after Jin-suk ran away.

"She deposited all possessions and entered the highest place in heaven." Kyung-suk exploits the death of Seongho and villagers believe him.

Min-chul and Chul-woo gather to rescue Yeong-sun. The plan falls into difficulties because of a counterattack from Ji-woong and his crew, Kyung-suk's followers.

Kyung-suk threatens Chul-woo about his past. The police chief, who finds out that Kyung-suk is a scammer, heads to Wolchuri, but is confused to see the peaceful village.

Chul-woo is becoming more confident about his abilities, acting as if he came to save Wolchu-ri. In the meantime, Kyung-suk visits the construction site of the cult society with villagers.

Chul-woo's beliefs threaten Kyung-suk's plans as well as Yeongseon... Min-chul begins to fight against Chul-woo.

The church begins to argue about the compensation for Wolchu-ri! Kyung-suk attacks Min-cheol, who tries to protect the compensation for the villagers.
