Auschwitz concentration camp survivor Harry Haft manages to escape and make it to New York where he becomes a professional boxer. Haunted by his memories and guilt over his survival, he fights boxing legends, like Rocky Marciano, in the hopes that his name will get noticed and he will find his first love again.
