Team Radical Turkey Hunting

First Season of the 2019 Illinois turkey season proved to be an exciting one for Lee and Kyle. Always expect the unexpected! Little did they know the 4 tom's were on their side of the creek and the hunt unfolded quickly ending in a double.

Jake Vancil has two incredible opening day archery hunts. Jake is able to get his first turkey with his bow and it's a double-bearded giant! Jake then has another successful opening day hunt after missing his decoy first!

Joel Eggers takes his wife, Rachel, turkey hunting to kick off this episode. Rachel puts down a giant tom after 2 jakes call him into the decoy. Joel then gets his redemption to close out his season on a call shy gobbler.

Joel Eggers is a turkey killing machine! He was able to knock down 2 birds during Illinois' first turkey season in Southern Illinois. These Toms come right into the decoy and put on one heck of a show!

Team Member Josh Christensen takes a vacation to Nebraska to hunt public land turkeys. Josh has some luck on the first day and keeps at it to tag another public land turkey!

Mike has some unfortunate luck bow hunting longbeards but gets redemption with his biggest bird to date. Mike then takes his buddy Travis turkey hunting and another big tom comes into the decoys!

Nate road trips up to Michigan to turkey hunt with team member Ricky Vandawater. Nate and Ricky get into birds all day long and it all comes together on the first day!

Sean McCrory battles low turkey numbers and bully Jakes in Missouri to try and fill his tag. Roosting a Tom the night before pays off.

Joel and Isaac both have some awesome morning hunts with big toms coming to their decoys.

After not hunting turkeys in over 10 years, Sydney joins Chris Walker on an Illinois spring turkey hunt. Chris and Sydney roost a group of Toms the night before and sneak in on them early in the morning. Chris calls a big tom right into their decoy set for an easy 10 yard shot for Sydney!

Turkey hunting can be frustrating and bow hunting turkeys can be extremely challenging as well. Chris had two incredible mornings turkey hunting with big Toms full strutting at close range. Check out this episode to see how Chris filled his tag after getting redemption turkey hunting.

Brandon Wilson and Brandon Phipps make quick work of two great Kentucky long beards.

Ashley and Brandon Phipps of Kentucky stick it out for just over twelve hours, waiting for the big tom to finally show his face. It just goes to show sometimes you have to wait them out to get that opportunity.
