Taskmaster

Frankie Boyle, Ivo Graham, Jenny Eclair, Kiell Smith-Bynoe and Mae Martin enter the Taskmaster arena - each vying to become the almighty champion of this fifteenth series.

At Greg's request, Little Alex Horne has split his band five ways for the sake of a task. This in turn leads to Jenny Eclair imparting her knowledge on trumpeters and piles. Also Frankie Boyle has some pretty strong opinions on golf.

Jenny Eclair has a lovely time sitting on chair, new potatoes cascading onto her head - while Ivo Graham thinks it's stupid. In a bid to impress the Taskmaster and amass the most points, emotions are always going to ride high. But who can keep it together for the sausage quiz?

Kiell Smith-Bynoe finds himself in a situation where he's playing bingo but doesn't have any shoes on, Mae Martin plays an unusual but potentially brilliant drum solo and all the comedians create boats to carry eggs in a race involving eggs (in boats).

As the comedians reach the halfway point of the competition Frankie Boyle decides it's the right time to impress with his magnificent falsetto.

It's episode six and you know what that means? Yes, it's time to meet everyone's imaginary friends in a domestic and poignant setting. Greg Davies has some tricky judging to do when people question the definition of the colour gold and nobody understands a simple egg shelling task.

As the battle for the Taskmaster trophy continues, Greg and Alex take it up a notch by introducing a pulper to proceedings - a huge piece of machinery set to test their bravery. Later in the episode jelly babies cause friction between the teams and we discover that Mae Martin and Ivo Graham's go-to noun is 'duck'.

At this stage of the competition It's not surprising that people find retrieving pineapples from a millpond stressful. Greg Davies judges the comedians as they also repurpose umbrellas and protect a duck from its jelly forcefield. To climax the show, Frankie Boyle goes to town on a giant cat scratch post.

It's nearly the end of the series and the pressure is so intense that Mae Martin immediately forgets the only rule to a task. Greg Davies demands to be educated about history but the five comedians only seem to know about the year 1066. Expect paint, stomping, poor time keeping and some impressively sneaky prizes in this sort-of semi final.

It's the Grand Final! The five comedians give their all to impress Greg and accumulate the most points to be crowned Series Champion. Tasks involve contemplating hose use, having an incredibly intense game of face-changing chess with Alex and creating something soothing for two very specific professions.
