Jamie's Food Escapes

Jamie Oliver takes a trip to Marrakesh, the fourth largest city in the Kingdom of Morocco to try out the street foods like the slow-roasted lamb in cumin and almond and rosewater cake. And he joins a Moroccan family who helps him have a taste of the authentic Morrocan home cooking. Jamie cooks his version of Moroccan roast lamb and snakey cake made from filo pastry, almonds, and rose petals.

Jamie Oliver arrives at Andalucia, the most populous and the second-largest autonomous community in the country of Spain. And he gets an opportunity to cook Paella for a whole village. He also cooks authentic Spanish delicacies like gazpacho, pork chops with Spanish beans, salt-roasted fish, tomato salad with chorizo, quail's egg breakfast with black pudding.

Jamie Oliver is in Stockholm, Sweden to try out some of its exquisite cuisines and he samples reindeer heart, a fermented herring and also picks wild mushrooms and blueberries on his way to an island nearby, and Jamie also makes pike perch, gravadlax and roasted beetroot salad.

Jamie Oliver is excited to be in Venice, Italy as he always had a fascination for Italian food, Venetian to be precise. As soon as he lands in Venice, he indulges in experiencing the delicious authentic tastes that Venice has to offer. He also attempts to learn the secret to making the best risotto in the world and also prepares a beef carpaccio, and a perfect Venetian tiramisu.

Jamie Oliver visits the French Pyrenees to experience their way of life and taste the local food. And he also joins the locals in truffle hunting and wild boar hunt.

Jamie Oliver escapes to Athens to explore its local food culture. He cooks Kebabs near the Acropolis and also tries his hand at preparing souvlaki, a popular Greek fast food consisting of small pieces of meat and sometimes vegetables grilled on a skewer.
