Appu The Yogic Elephant

Appu's Colorful Birthday Surprise has twists, turns and loads of fun. You probably already know what an invincible Yogic elephant calf Appu is. There is nothing he can't: he can choke harvesters, save a choking baby and save the homes of millions of animals in the forest all at the same time. Oh! What about all the fish in the river?

Appu is one enthusiastic Yogic calf. When he is not meditating and taking flight outside his body, he is learning something or the other. That's how he builds his world wider. Thanks to Neena and Tiger, they bring him things that get him all curious about things humans do. Especially how they can see their names being written.

Now, what's this special yogic calf up to? He and his friends know how to spice up and make the most of a rainy day. Neena and Tiger are always up for an adventure, and so are their jungle friends. They are curious about all the things around they can't stop investigating. This fantastic group is on a special mission this time. They've gotta be quick! Run to the spot and find out if they're right.

Appu and his friends are on a mission. What mission that that be? Something definitive and bound by lines, edges, or curves. Shapes! There are shapes all around. That's exactly what this bunch is about to find. They so badly want to help Neena finish her homework.

Appu, Neena, Tiger and their friends are parched in the scorching tropical heat. They long for the monsoon to come soon. Appu finds a different way to cool them all off. He 'magic-ks' the seasons that the temperate countries around the world have: Winter, spring, summer and fall. All in one day!

Neena and Tiger are going away for some time. Appu realizes that he should learn all about days and months to keep track of when he'll meet his friends. Appu is all enthusiastic about it. We all know that he'll learn at the first glance, but what about all the other non-yogic animals? Neena finds an easy way to teach them all the days of the week and months of the year.

There is one important quality that all Yogic elephants have, it’s something valuable… Something we all ought to learn. Patience! Patience is something that monkeys and humans have the least. Here is King and Queen Lee trying their best to stay still. Neena promises them that she'll buy fruits for everyone in the forest. Tiger has a hard time ‘entertaining’ them and making sure they’re not seen.

Neena brings a box of snacks. Guess what it's filled with? Vegetables! Lovely vegetables in all shapes, colors and sizes. Appu loves them all and there are few that he is especially fond of. What gets the trio more excited is the yoghurt dip that goes with it. Tiger discovers his new favorite, asparagus, and Neena keeps digging in for more carrots. Appu just can't have enough of the turnips!

There is one thing that has fascinated, and caught the attention of our favourite hero, Appu and he wants to learn it. The magic of reading. The first step, as we all know is getting familiar with the alphabet. Appu learns all the letters by heart the minute Neena sings the song. Now he's all set to spread his love for learning to read. He wants all his friends to join him.

Appu learns to crunch the basic of mathematics. Numbers! Tiger has lots of bones in his stash, King and Queen Lee have a collection of some 'stupendous' socks. but how many? Neena and Appu decide to begin with one to ten. Appu 'magics' all the numbers and they pop out all in line to entertain and educate his special group of friends. They are all able to count out their possessions.
