Ciro Di Marzio, right hand man of clan boss Pietro Savastano, and his friend Attilio set fire to Salvatore Conte's home to cut Salvatore down to size.

When Genny creates a rift with another clan, Pietro decides it's time to put him to the test and asks Ciro to mentor him. Pietro then tests Ciro's loyalty in his own unique way.

Ciro's turn hasn't come quite yet, for Pietro manages to hold on to the reins from inside the prison. Even being behind bars won't stop him sending Ciro and his men to eliminate the Nigerian crack-dealers in a brutal massacre.

African drug dealers want more of a percentage from the clan, but Don Pietro plays hardball. Meanwhile, Genny's mettle is again tested.

While Imma finally convinces Genny to go on a mission to the clan's drug-trafficking sources in Honduras, Ciro has already left for Spain. His assignment is to find Conte and negotiate a truce between the clans.

Ciro realizes Imma had sent him away to pave her own road to power. Disapproving of the way she runs business, he sets up his own operation.

Now that it has become clear that Imma has Pietro's blessing and with Genny out of reach, Ciro realizes that his strategy must once again be to toe the line while Imma starts to restructure the Savastano business empire.

Genny has strikingly changed and no longer needs his family or his mentor Ciro.

Genny plans to lead the gang towards a bright and prosperous future, but Ciro tries to stop this by sending someone to kill Salvatore Conte's right-hand man.

Bloodshed is imminent as Conte returns to Naples to avenge Tonino's murder. As Ciro tries to distract him, Daniele's life hangs in the balance.

What all bosses had tried to avoid, is now the dire truth: Daniele's death sparks an entire series of bloodshed. All clans opposing or holding grudges against the Savastanos rally around Conte, forcing Genny to cut all ties to him.

While Daniele's death may have caused bloodshed, Imma's death leads to open warfare in the streets.
