When Noah Cooper (Dax Shepard) is fired from his job as a therapist, he thinks his day cant get any worse, but arriving home he discovers his overbearing mother Marilyn (Diane Keaton) has moved in with her 5 dogs. Hilarity ensues as Noah deals with the pressures of finding a job, a wife (Liv Tyler) who desperately wants a baby, and worst of all a mother who won't quit smothering!
