They are investigating an intriguing sculpture found at a local flea market. It resembles a work from 1956, once owned by David Bowie. If it’s a genuine Frink, it could be worth £60,000. But if it’s not, then its scrap metal value is a mere £10!

He’s taken a gamble on a painting he hopes is by a towering figure of 18th-century art, Sir Joshua Reynolds. But this particular investigation has many twists and turns. There’s a chance the previous owners could claim it back. And then a fascinating discovery is made beneath the paint.

Fiona travels to Provencal on the trail of a simple watercolor, that could be a Cezanne. Meanwhile Philip heads to northern France, where Pissarro set up home, to investigate a drawing of cabbage sellers that might be by the great man.

Works by this Armenian-American artist fetch millions at auction, but there is one major hurdle. The canvas is covered in white paint. Could there be an expensive Gorky hiding beneath the whitewash? And, in trying to save it, could the team actually destroy it?
