Just one month ago, Elle's Watsonia home was a rundown brick relic from the 1970s. Elle had always planned to give the house a much-needed revamp, but the cost-of-living crisis put renovation plans on the back burner.

There's less than four days until the final Dream Homes are revealed in Sydney, and at the end of this week the three lowest scoring couples will leave the competition.
