Do Hyeon's bosses notice that Jeong Yeon completely passes the group by without so much as a greeting and question him what happened between the two last night. Meanwhile, Yoo Myung Joon heads to the hospital to visit his sister but becomes more interested in the nurse who caught his eye.

All memories of their troubles disappear when Jeong Yeon rushes to the hospital after news of Do Hyeon's accident completely doused in tears. Yoo In Hye also makes an appearance, but things become awkward as Jeong Yeon remembers that she was Mi Ran's nurse the other day at Injin Hospital.

After the events following his accident, Do Hyeon offers Jeong Yeon a gift as the two make up and reconcile, hoping to leave the past in the past. Elsewhere, troubled Kim Tae Sung meets with an old loan shark friend to borrow 300 million won with the reminder that the friendship meant nothing if he couldn't repay it.

Jeong Yeon records a sweet message for Do Hyeon but ends up sleeping alone after a misunderstanding after sharing drinks with In Hye. Meanwhile, the loan shark threatens Tae Sung and warns him that he's prepared to demand repayment from his son, Do Hyeon, if he doesn't receive his money.

Chairman Yoo's health begins to decline as he requests a doctor with nurse Jeong Hyeon to assist him at his mansion. Elsewhere, Kim Tae Sung comes up with a new plan after he and his team found a brick of real gold in a long-abandoned mine originally designed to seek gold.

After facing the recent incident, Do Hyeon meets with Jeong Yeon at the hospital and asked her to forward his apology to her father. At the same time, Kim Tae Sung succeeds in this plan to frame Yoo's eldest son while pictures of an affair between a woman and Kim Do Chul come to light.

Jeong Yeun heads to Myung Joon's office to receive a checkup, and Myung Joon asks her if she considered the offer to take down her own sister. Meanwhile, Yoo Sung Joon continues to press the prosecutor to seal the deal on Do Hyeon, but the lawyer's really targeting someone else.

Do Hyeun learns from In Hye that his former lover Jeong Yeon appears to be dating Myung Joon, causing the man to become incredibly jealous of the two. Elsewhere, Lone Korea-Asia pushes the bank for acquisition as the plan to drive down Han Yeong Bank's stock value kicks into gear.

Due to Sung Joon's scheme of sending Han Yeong Bank money seemingly from Lone Asia, Do Hyeon's alliance begins to lose the fight. However, Lone Asia does not quite get the win as Han Yeong Bank is still not yet convinced that the other bank can be fully—or partially—trusted.

Jung Yeon takes a walk with Halmoni at the hospital where she has a heart to heart regarding Do Hyeon and his recent behavior. Jung Yeon takes the talk to heart and calls Do Hyeon to apologize for treating him harshly following their breakup since she's no longer in his life.

In Hye begins to celebrate a victory after joining forces with older brother Sung Joon, but the victory suddenly gets cut short when she finds her older brother completely drunk with a bottle in hand. Meanwhile, Do Hyeon tries to settle in his prison cell as a fellow inmate tries to connect with him.

Inmate #3443 reveals the story behind his own arrest, which involves a lavish tale revolving a well-known figure and a sizable slush fund for paying off politicians. Later, inmate #3443 and Do Hyeon spring into action and sell off their company stocks to crash the value of both banks involved.

Do Hyeon resumes his guise to Sung Joon and pretends to be poor, but he opts to reluctantly accept the man's offer this time around. Meanwhile, some investigating leads In Hye to learn that Do Hyeon and Geong Man have a connection, but the news comes a little too late for action.

Following Do Hyeon's declaration of war against In Jun Group, Sung Joon's anger drives him to don a golf club and attack his assistant as Do Hyeon discusses strategies. Elsewhere, Halmoni once again brings up Do Hyeon to Jung Yeon and insists having her in his life could be a matter of life or death.

Do Hyeon meets with In Hye who surprisingly accepts an offer from her father to save In Jun Capital using the slush fund account. Elsewhere, Han Young Bank is now under reform and looks for a new acquisition; much to everyone's surprise, the bank sets its target on the failing Shin Heung Bank.

In Hye learns the shocking truth about Do Hyeon's involvement as the negotiator for Shin Heung Bank, warning him that she no longer feels guilty about how she has treated him in the past. Later, In Hye visits her brother at the hospital just as Do Hyeon's former lover Jung Yeon walks in.

Jung Yeon pays Do Hyeon a visit at his office asks him why he has been working so hard lately as he tells a tale of reading about Bobby Kennedy's death while in prison. Meanwhile, In Hye taunts the Shin Heung Bank executives for not heeding her warnings about Do Hyeon.

In Hye discovers that some of the bonds that she has been holding onto are fraudulent just as the media catches wind about the crisis with the Dong Gu group. The bad press begins to take a toll on Lone Asia, and James tells In Hye that he is disappointed.

In a private meeting, James reveals to Do Hyun that he wants to take ShinHeung Bank for himself to own personally, prepared to go as far as revealing the dirty deeds of the In Jin Group. Meanwhile, the police fail to connect suspected companies for accepting illegal funds despite using their best efforts.

Myung Joon spends his final moments at the hospital as Jung Yeon and In Hye both come in for a visit. In addition, Do Hyeon's interference continues the investigation on the two deaths that occurred earlier as the tale of the Midas drama comes to a fitting end for everybody.
