Miami Water Cops

Meet the Water Cops: Lily Bethencourt, Caesar Carbana, Oscar Gonzalez and John Cunhill. Their beat is the Miami River, the number one cocaine route into the country. This week they are at the scene of a massive drugs bust and seize 400 kilos in cocaine. Plus, we are introduced to the four guys bidding to make it as Marine Security Agents.

In this episode, the Water Cops are aboard airboats, unique craft designed to drive on both water and land, patrolling the Everglades and The Special Ops trainees learn to see in the dark. Water cop Lily comes face to face with a drunken boater.

Today, the Water Cops are deep in the Everglades on a $50,000 super buggy. There is a tense shoot-out as the Special Ops trainees come under fire. Plus, the cops go after a jet skier in a high-octane chase.

Today the Wildlife Patrol are on the track of animal abusers. And the Security students are put up to the test in a night attack.

Today the Water Cops get tough with trespassers and the Security Students start on gruelling weapons training exercises in the wake of last week's failure. They're learning about the difficulties of accurate shooting at sea.

This week, the cops rush out to a burning boat and the sheriff gets himself in a 60mile/hour boat chase. Meanwhile, the trainees learn the importance of the three Ds: detect, deter and defend. They'll be putting all three into practice when they find an intruder on board the boat.

Today, another drugs bust and the Water Cops are on the front line. Meanwhile, Sheriff takes a jet skier in for question. And the final briefing: the end is in sight for the Special Ops trainees.

Today, clandestine swimming: the Special Ops learn the ropes of spy swimming. Meanwhile, the Water Cops are in at the deep end: Officers Julius Wiggins and Lily Bethencourt have drawn the short straw. They'll be the ones braving the contaminated river water in search of a hazardous vehicle.

Today, distress signals at sea - the wildlife patrol to the rescue. Midnight maneuvers - the Special Ops trainees go under cover. And in South Miami, Biscayne National Park, wildlife patrolmen Mike and Curt patrol a beauty spot for illegal crab poachers.

Today: blinded by science. The Wildlife Patrol waits for an elusive natural phenomenon. Special Ops continue their training in camouflage swimming. Water Cops Lily and Caesar are at the police gun range to be tested on their shooting skills, and if they're good enough, they'll qualify for a course to become firearms instructors.
