Tiger: Spy in the Jungle

Hidden cameras carried by elephants follow the lives of four tiger cubs growing up in the Indian jungle. As they move from their mother's milk to meat, the tigress uses her hunting skills while their father protects his vulnerable offspring at a distance.

The half-grown cubs learn the hunting and fighting skills they'll need as adults. The cameras also give an insight into other animals, including leopards and deer, as well as boars and sloth bears at the jungle pools.

At a year-and-a-half old, the cubs are learning to hunt for themselves, but their mother is quick to lose patience. Soon, a jackal family must learn to cope with the tigers invading their backyard, and a flock of peacocks tease cubs into a game of dare.
