As Time Goes By

Lionel and Jean go on a romantic holiday to Paris. But their dream soon turns sour when they find they are not alone in this lovers' paradise.

Lionel's father is getting married. Jean and Lionel have key roles to play, her as a bridesmaid and him to give away the bride. But events on the wedding day go awry, and Lionel winds up in a quite different role and realizes his father's bizarre marriage is truly filled with the utmost love.

Jean and Lionel have made the decision to live together. However, communication wires get crossed and there is confusion about who is to go live with whom. They end up still living apart.

After their argument over who should move in with who, Jean and Lionel are 'taking a break.' Both too proud to make amends, they are thrown together when Penny and Stephen come over for a visit and Jean and Lionel must pretend that everything is fine

Jean and Lionel have at last agreed that Lionel should move in with Jean. When they are left alone in their new joint accommodation, they find it a little difficult to adjust to their new way of life.

Jean opens up a second Type for You branch and starts looking for a manager to run it. Assuming she will be the natural choice, Judy is disappointed, nay shocked when she finds out Jean has offered the job to Sandy. Meanwhile, Alistair confronts Jean with the idea of adapting Lionel's book into a TV mini-series.

Alistair comes back from Los Angeles with news that a television company wants to turn Lionel's book into a miniseries. While trying to make copies at Jean's agency Lionel accidentally shreds the miniseries summary. Despite this catastrophe, the station decides to go ahead with the idea. So Jean and Lionel return to L.A.

Jean and Lionel travel to Los Angeles to discuss turning their story into a film. But Jean becomes quite concerned when Lionel meets the executive who will decide their fate.

Upon returning home from the United States, Jean and Lionel are hit with jet lag. Lionel takes to bed while Jean must pacify the women of Type for You 2 and their growing jealousy towards the super efficient new manager, Sally Curtis.

Jean hires a new secretary to replace Daisy, Lionel's super efficient, good looking temp. However the new secretary is not as efficient as Lionel would have hoped. Then, Rocky and Madge end up in hospital and things get crazier as the day goes on.
