Intrigued, they set off to try and make different shaped bubbles, but to no avail. So the gang decides to make believe they're bubbles and find out why bubbles are always round.

Luna is given an old family book all about constellations. She is absolutely fascinated by the illustrations and determined to find every single constellation in the book. But finding constellations isn't as easy as she, Jupiter, and Clyde thought. They'll have to make believe they're stars to find out where the constellations are.

Luna and Jupiter's bingo game is interrupted by a mysterious meowing sound. Following the sound, they discover an adorable lost kitten. As they look him over to make sure he's ok, they find themselves wondering why cats have whiskers? They try making their own whiskers and are able to learn a little about whiskers, but to find out more they decide to make believe they're cute kittens too.

While bike riding with their friends, Luna and Jupiter see a beautiful hot air balloon in the sky. But as they explain to Clyde what they saw, they begin to wonder, how do hot air balloons fly? When making their own balloon gets them no closer to understanding, it's time for another magical make believe. This time they decide to be hot air balloons so they can discover what makes them fly.

After checking out Dr. Jane's new saltwater fish over at the pet shop, Luna, Jupiter and Clyde start to wonder. Why is salt water salty? Could someone have added salt to it? They've just gotta find out! It's time for another exciting make believe in search of answers.

Jupiter thinks the moon looks a lot like Momma's Swiss cheese, what with its holes and everything. Luna is quite positive the moon is not made out of cheese, but where the moon's holes came from she's not quite sure. Wanting a cup of water, Jupiter is shocked to discover a gecko on the ceiling. What if it falls on his head? During a stormy thunderstorm, Luna discovers that Jupiter and Clyde are afraid of thunder. She teaches them Daddy's special trick for counting thunders to measure how far away the storm is getting, but it gets her wondering: How does Daddy's trick work? To find out what's happening, the trio make believe they're little thunderclouds to find out what's happening here.

While playing hopscotch with Alice, the gang notices Dr Jane's dog doing something odd: pawing the ground like he's wiping his feet and then rubbing up against a bush like he's got an itch. What could he be doing? The trio makes a great experiment at the pet shop, but they only find part of the answers. On the make believe they're doggies trying to discover why dogs do what they do.

It's a particularly hot sunny day, the sun is shining bright in the sky, which gets Jupiter wondering. What do you call people who are born on the Planet Sun? Planet Sun? Luna's pretty sure the sun isn't a planet, but then what is it? Edson's model of the solar system raises a few more questions and they decide the only way to answer their questions is in another sun-tastic make believe!

Luna and Jupiter are looking everywhere for Clyde, but he's nowhere to be found. Turns out the little ferret is napping in a pile of leaves the same color as his fur, which is why they didn't see him, even though walked past him a dozen times... He was camouflaged! It's Clyde's birthday which gets everyone wondering about the age of other things too, like how old are trees and how do you find out how old they are. After examining, measuring, investigating the trees in the backyard, the trio decide to make believe they're little squirrels to get the answers they're looking for.

The trio is thoroughly wiped out after running around the backyard and Luna treats them each to a little piece of chocolate. After a yummy chocolatey experiment, it's time for the absolutely yummiest make believe ever!

When Grandma and Grandpa send the gang some silk robes from their trip to China, Luna, Jupiter and Clyde are surprised that little silkworms made the robes. How can something so small make such beautiful robes? They decide to make believe they're little silkworms at the silk mill and are thrilled to discover that the silkworms are actually caterpillars that make silk cocoons.

While playing with little toy cars in Jupiter's room, the trio notices something very curious - their toy cars move very differently across different surfaces. But why? What's Happening Here?
