Venice Beach Freakshow owner Todd Ray makes plans for a unique celebration: the birthday of his two-headed bearded dragon, Poncho and Lefty. The two are about to turn three years old despite initial expectations they'd live less than two weeks. Looking to make it the biggest birthday party the Freakshow has ever had, Todd invites two new performers: a living giant and a bearded lady.

When Todd announces plans to hold a sword swallowers event that will "go down in history," competition between the performers heats up as Murrugan, Brianna, and Morgue try to one-up one another with death-defying stunts. Looking to be taken more seriously by her fellow performers, Asia decides to attempt to learn sword swallowing in hopes of also participating in the event.

Todd Ray takes a road trip to visit legendary sideshow owner Bobby Reynolds, who possesses a preserved two-headed human baby that Todd wants to add to his collection of wonders. On the way back to Venice Beach, Todd makes a side trip to a farm, where he purchases a six-legged cow. Meanwhile, back at the Freakshow, some of the performers decide to spend their day off roller skating.

Planning a human pin cushion event, Todd Ray asks Murrugun if he can pierce himself with steel skewers without shedding blood, and Murrugun is excited to take on the challenge. To guarantee his safety, Todd and Danielle take him to a hospital, where a doctor uses an X-ray machine to confirm that Murrugun's swords do indeed reach his stomach when he swallows them.

Everyone at the Freakshow is ecstatic when Amazing Ali drops by to show off her newest piece of jewellery: her engagement ring! After Todd offers to recreate the elegant wedding thrown for legendary sideshow performer Tom Thumb by P.T. Barnum, she agrees to hold the ceremony at the Freakshow. When the big day arrives, a large crowd gathers outside the Freakshow to witness the festivities.

Todd plans a strongman competition and invites some special guests to participate. The Illustrated Penguin lifts an anvil with his ears, The Great Nippulini pulls a cart full of people with his nipples, Andrew S. pulls a truck weighing nearly two tons with his eye sockets, and Billy Owen tells his inspiring story and then turns himself into a human jack-o'-lantern.

Todd plans to recreate one of his favourite pitch cards: A photo of Charles Tripp, "The Armless Wonder," and Eli Bowen, "The Legless Acrobat." With that in mind, he invites Jesse the Half Man and Jim the Armless Wonder to appear at the Freakshow. Throughout their time with Todd, Jesse and Jim amaze everyone with numerous feats that demonstrate there's nothing they can't do.

Todd plans the biggest event in the show's history: the Venice Beach Freakshow Festival, with a parade down the boardwalk and the largest collection of performers the show has ever assembled performing their greatest stunts. The goal of the festival is to get people to "Say 'no' to normal" and to celebrate that everyone is different, unique, and beautiful.
