Megan, a successful Irish artist, lives in Dublin with her husband Leo, an Italian who has emigrated there for years. At the news of the death of Leo's uncle, a powerful priest of the Catholic church, the couple returns to Puglia to settle an unexpected legacy. They decide to stay for the summer, but in the hottest hours of the day, Megan is disturbed by mysterious presences.
