My Ballerina

Emma, a celebrated choreographer in New York City, gets back to Vicenza, Italy, a town she left 16 years ago after the death of her newborn girl. Emma announces she will present a choreography at the upcoming dance festival. It will be a chance to spend some time wit her mother Paola and with her childhood friend Azzurra.

Emma is convinced that her daughter may be Valentina, and she performs a DNA test on her. The girls are enthusiastic of Emma's unconventional teachings, but tension arises when they find out she will chose just one soloist. Valentina, who wants to be the chosen one, quarrels with Emma about it, and right after their fight is involved in an accident and ends in a coma.

Luca, Valentina's brother, finds out about the real reason why Emma is in town. After some quarrelling, he and Emma team up to find the truth about Valentina's accident and Emma's daughter, and they discover that Luisa, Anita's mother and the appointee of the investigations, has lied about her pregnancy and changed her identity about 16 years ago.

While Emma and Luca go on investigating, the Academy becomes the set of a musical videoclip by Italian popstar Einar. The ballerinas enthusiastically participate in the filming, all but Anita, who sets a secret appointment with the man who promised to tell her the truth about her mother's past.

Someone sneaked into the Academy and covered its walls with graffiti insulting Emma: since she arrived the ballerinas have been in danger. Emma does not lose heart and creates a choreography in which the ballerinas clean up the walls while dancing. The video of the dance becomes popular on social medias and to celebrate the girls throw a party.

The Academy participates in the annual charity dance: Emma's ballerinas will perform a modern version of the Swan Lake. The event, though, is shattered by Enrico's arrest, after Emma and Luca discover, and report to Luisa, that the car involved in Valentina's accident belongs to him. But once again things are not as they appear.

Valentina's testimony exculpates Enrico: she does not remember the face of the man who ran over her with Enrico's car, but she is sure it was not the professor. Emma tries to apologize to Enrico for suspecting him, but he is angry at her and convinced she is hiding something from him.

Enrico manages to reanimate Emma. He asks her to tell him what's going on, but she is not ready yet and once again they part. Valentina's operation wen well, but now she will have to endure a painful rehab. Valentina tells the other ballerinas about her recollection of the accident. When she mentions the keyring with the rabbit tail, Sofia has to hide her panic.

The episode opens with Luigi's funeral. Everybody is shaken, Luca is still at large and the entire town is talking about what happened. While the girls find themselves divided between Sofia, who believes Luca killed her father, and Valentina, who believes him innocent, Emma and Enrico receive a call from the alleged murderer. He swears he is innocent, but he refuses to give himself in.

It's time for Emma to tell the police everything about her daughter, but her painful confession is of no use for Luca, who remains in prison for Luigi's murder. Enrico stands besides Emma while she faces the consequences of her revelations: Martina is in pieces, learning her parents "bought" her is terrible and she's mad at them, but even madder at Emma, who unveiled that painful truth.

The festival is but a few days away, and the girls are more excited than ever, but it's not easy to overcome all the tragic events that happened. Miranda feels guilty for her role in Luca's arrest, Anita has to face her mother's anguish and Davide's doubts after learning his daughter may be alive.

Thanks to a phone call by Cecilia, Emma finds Azzurra and she confronts her. Azzurra reveals she has nothing to do with Emma's daughter. She only knows who killed Luigi, and her revelation is shattering: that day, she saw her husband, Roberto, Emma's brother, coming home with his shirt soaked in blood.
