The Nuremberg Trials are beginning. The main defendant, Hermann Göring, is a cynical manipulator, utterly evil and ready to do anything to protect himself. He is also brilliantly intelligent, which makes obtaining incriminating testimony from him extremely difficult. A young psychiatrist begins a psychological game with Göring, aiming to secure irrefutable evidence of his guilt.
