The time is the reign of the 8th shogun, Tokugawa Yoshimune. Tange Sazen, a one-eyed, one-handed swordsman, happens to acquire the "Kokezaru no jar" that Yagyu Genzaburo, the younger brother of the Yagyu clan lord, has lost, and he and Genzaburo hit it off. However, this treasure of the world hides a map of the Yagyu family's hidden treasures. A great battle soon ensues...
