Poing

This story begins with the birth of PoingENSTEIN, a boy who tries to understand the world by touching a sinister computer device-then explodes. Poing wakes up at the breakfast table, panting and sweaty. He tells his computer friend about the dream and concludes: "Knowledge can only be obtained through a lot of effort and fun."
