Sword est un Chevalier Makai chassant les Horrors, des humains transformés en monstres. Sa route croise celle de Sophie, une jeune fille à la recherche de quelqu'un avec pour seul indice le mot "Eldorado".

The morning after a crazy night, a strange rain begins to fall upon the bewildered construction men, washing away their memories of the entire. A single man stands watch with an umbrella overhead. His name is Luke, a Makai Alchemist.

Gina, une connaissance de Sword, a besoin de son aide pour une mission, l'occasion peut-être pour lui d'en apprendre plus sur Eldorado.

Sophie continues the search for any clues that may lead her to her brother, Martin. Since the word "El Dorado" was the only thing her brother left behind, she desperately tries to hunt down the elusive Sword in order to gather more information.

What is El Dorado? Sophie pesters Sword for an answer and meets Gina for the first time. Perfect timing, as it seems Gina needs both a husband and a child for her next treasure hunt. Gina takes Sophie along to show her just what it is that they do.

Des gens disparaissent mystérieusement dans un cinéma. Luke décide de se charger de l'affaire seul, au grand dam de Sword et Sophie.

A sudden increase of missing persons cases are plaguing Russel City. All of the victims are young adults heavily involved with the internet. A message about El Dorado is left behind by one of the victims and the crew begins their frantic search.

Sword and Luke chase after the knight of darkness, who was once the powerful Silver Makai Knight. Fei Long and Meifang support them and protect Sophie from Knight's grasp as Sword and Knight battle it out and the city falls to shambles.

Russel City works on recovering from the mysterious disaster that hit their city. The diner sends Sword and Sophie out west, to find El Dorado and take down Knight before he has a chance to make a second attack. Sophie travels with Sword in a daze.

Sword and Sophie have already left. Luke wanders around the ruined townscape, monitoring the barriers surrounding the city and taking care of Horrors that find their way in. As he recovers from his injuries, he contemplates what it is that he must do.

Sword and Sophie finally make it to San Dell Diós, a small town at the outskirts of the lawless zone. They explore as they wait for their escort to make contact. Unfortunately for them, the town has a plan in place to split the two of them apart.

Le trajet de Sword et Sophie en direction d'Eldorado se poursuit, avec désormais Gina en renfort. Cela les mène à un mystérieux motel au milieu de nulle part.

Sword, Sophie et Gina continuent de rechercher Eldorado, mais ils ne parviennent pas à le localiser. Gina décide d'aller à la Terre-guide, un mystérieux endroit.

Luke se voit confier une tâche annexe par le doyen qui le conduit chez une fan d'occulte et son grand-père afin de retrouver un démon scellé.

Tandis que Sword, Sophie, Gina et Luke se rapprochent peu à peu d'Eldorado, leurs ennemis se retrouvent face à un ennemi surprenant.

Sword, Sophie et Gina font étape dans la dernière ville avant Eldorado, et Sword se retrouve à devoir aider un des habitants.

Alors qu'ils faisaient une étape sur leur route, le ciel s'obscurcit et de nombreux véhicules foncent sur Sword, Sophie et Gina.Que leur veulent-ils ?

Sword et sa bande ont enfin atteint leur destination : Eldorado. Toutefois, trouver des informations va s'avérer compliqué…

Sword, Sophie et Luke sont toujours à la recherche d'Eldorado, ce qui les conduit dans un mystérieux bâtiment.

Sophie et Sword se retrouvent tous deux piégés dans le vrai Eldorado. Que vont-ils y trouver ?

Sophie et Martin se sont retrouvés, mais ils vont tous deux très vite déchanter. Le piège d'Eldorado commence à se refermer…

King a fait son apparition et Sophie est en danger. Sword vient pour la sauver, mais les choses s'annoncent compliquées.

Sword et Sophie retournent à Eldorado pour stopper les plans de King, tandis que Gina et Luke couvrent leurs arrières. Chacun d'entre eux va devoir affronter une situation critique.

Alors que Sword s'apprêtait à partir, le Chevalier noir fait son apparition pour un dernier combat acharné. Sophie, Gina et Luke doivent quant à eux finir leur mission.
