The incident

The daily life of the inhabitants of a small and isolated village in the mountains will be altered because of an incredible storm that will change their lives forever. Strange things start happening: animal disappearances, people who wake up from a coma, handicapped persons who start walking, an elderly man who recovers his memory after years of suffering from Alzheimer, etc.

The ground cracks close to a house. Part of the crop has dried up, there are lots of dead fish and birds. Ribero rises to the antenna tower and falls into the abyss. Nacho stands up and walks. Maria constantly drinks water while everything is drying out around her. Pablo starts investigating. Esther feels a shape. Her daughter, Daniela, is worried about the wall dampness.

Pablo finds Maria in the middle of the road, soaked and disoriented, she doesn't know how to explain what has happened, nor about her pregnancy. Many weird incidents are taking place in the village, the only common element is the water. The faucets make strange noises and the lake flow rate is rising. Water leaks through the walls and the sewer covers blow up because of the pressure.

More and more people of the town are having weird behaviors. Ana sneaks into Nacho's house and takes a sample of his hair. Maria wakes up in the morning laying down on a bench in the town square, confused, disoriented and wet, she decides to put a video recorder in her room to find out what happens during the night. Daniela finds a corpse at the lake.

The lake's water seems to be magnetized and there are metallic objects floating on it. Daniela decides to write an article about all the strange phenomena that are taking place in the village. It will entail awful consequences. She goes to visit her grandfather to the hospital, hides in a closet and from there she watches all the patients walking like zombies towards her.
