While Stede adjusts to his new normal, a heartbroken Blackbeard fills the void with daily raids – sparking concern amongst Izzy and the crew.

Aboard Zheng's ship, Stede, Olu, and Black Pete have surprising revelations while Blackbeard’s crew plots their revenge.

When Zheng unexpectedly takes hold of the Revenge, the reunited crew starts to plan their escape. Meanwhile, a preoccupied Stede resorts to desperate measures to bring back Blackbeard, who must confront a life-or-death decision of his own.

After his crew unanimously votes to banish him, Blackbeard encounters some dysfunctional old acquaintances onshore. Later, Stede and Blackbeard must decide how to move forward.

After a lukewarm reception upon his return, Blackbeard remains plagued by distrust aboard the Revenge -- especially from an embittered Lucius. Meanwhile, Stede gains new confidence during his "captain lessons" with Izzy.

Facing accusations of becoming boring, the Revenge crew throws a party in honor of Calypso's birthday ... which is soon interrupted by a pirate seeking retribution. Meanwhile, Zheng proposes a "partnership" with Prince Ricky Barnes.

On a visit to the Republic of Pirates, Blackbeard sifts through plans for his future and his relationship with a newly infamous Stede. Then, as Jim schemes to reunite Oluwande with a hesitant Zheng, the world of piracy gets upended.

After watching the Republic of Pirates crumble, Stede and Zheng pursue Prince Ricky Barnes, the Revenge crew schemes to escape imprisonment, and Blackbeard plots a return to piracy ... leading to triumph and a devastating loss.
