Cody

'Cody' brings a fresh and modern feel to the much-loved cop show genre. Cody (Gary Sweet) is a good cop. Honest, caring, dedicated, hard-working, tough, street smart, quick to react and has a winning smile. He is a Sydney-based police detective with Fiorelli (Robert Mammone) as his partner and Inspector Genevieve Simmonds (Heather Mitchell) as their superior.

Mack, an old friend of Cody gives him a tip about a burglary in an arms store. Fiorelli and he try to catch the thieves, but one can escape. Apparently another old friend of Cody shows up: Jimmy Cotter. Cody gets a second tip of Mack, this time a false one, but later, Mack is found dead. Cody thinks that Cotter has something to do with it, and goes and talk with him.
