After a year away, Jim returns home to reconnect with his family. But his path to redemption hits a roadblock, and then Fiona has a car accident that changes everything.

After Paul’s body is found in her trunk, Fiona is arrested. In a flashback to weeks earlier, Jim and Paul disagree about how to handle what they witnessed at the farm.

Paul agonizes over the difficult decision he must make after the gang’s ringleader orders him to help steal Gillian’s prized horse.

Tensions run high on the day of the twin’s First Communion when Paul is late coming home and Jim encounters Michael for the first time since returning to town.

With their relationship now out in the open, Gillian and Fiona plan to go away together with the kids. Paul tells Jim he cannot keep their secret any longer.

Two weeks before the crash, Fiona’s health takes a rapid decline, and she needs stronger medication for the pain. Paul is unable to cope and lashes out. In the present, Dez puts the final pieces of the puzzle together.
