Thomas & Friends - Seasons 18, 19, 20, 21

When Marion is sent to clear an overgrown siding a voice cries out in alarm and Marion thinks she's found a talking Christmas tree. But when Thomas goes to investigate he realises it is in fact Glynn, the old Coffee Pot engine who worked on the branch line before Thomas.

It's the day after Christmas and Glynn, the old Coffee Pot engine, has been restored and brought to Ulfstead Castle, but Stephen, the other old restored engine at the castle is jealous. What starts as a little rivalry for the Earl's attention ends up becoming more and more competitive until it turns into a very slow race between the two historic engines on the mainline.

Diesel, the diesel shunter, isn't a very easy engine to be friends with. He is always bumping the other engines and laughing! One day, he shunts Daisy the highly sprung diesel railcar and thinks no more about it. When a rumour goes around that Daisy's springs have finally sprung, Diesel resents the implication that it is somehow his fault... even though it is!

Diesel is sick and tired of hearing Daisy the diesel railcar describe herself as "a most singular engine". So when Diesel overhears Thomas describing not Daisy but Harvey as "one of a kind, a unique engine," he spots the chance to make mischief! Diesel goes back and forth telling Harvey and Daisy that the other engine is boasting about how he or she is most uniquely Useful.

Terence is busy working with The Woodsmen, who are cutting down fir trees for Tidmouth Christmas Market. When Thomas comes to collect the trees he thinks back to the very first time he met Terence, and how he told him he thought his wheels were ugly. Terence explained that they were caterpillar tracks.

Spencer and Gordon are very competitive. They argue about everything. Spencer boasts about being a private engine and Gordon boasts about pulling the express and they both insist that they are faster and better than the other.

Daisy would spend the whole of winter in her shed if it wasn't for one thing - Christmas! Daisy loves a traditional Sodor Christmas - so she is upset when things go a little differently! There's no snow for the children's Christmas outing. The children change the words to a Christmas song.

When Sir Topham Hatt catches a nasty cold his mother sends him home to bed and says she will run the railway while he is off sick. But Dowager Hatt soon has Thomas collecting her new hat from Brendam Docks leaving Edward to carry Thomas' passengers. And there's further indignity for Gordon when he is forced to take Edward's cars to the scrap yard.

One snow day, Donald and Douglas pick up a very long train of heavy flatbeds from the Docks. The flatbeds are heavy and Sir Topham Hatt asks Emily to lend the two engines some puff. Emily joins Douglas at the back of the train - but their chatter makes Donald, out at the front, feel left out in the cold.

It's winter on Sodor. The steam engines are still waiting for the coal delivery to arrive, when the weather takes a turn for the worst and everything freezes. The engines carry on with their work, but the coal still doesn't arrive and the next day there is not enough fuel. Sir Topham Hatt confines the steam engines to the sheds.

Harvey is a rather understated engine who doesn't like to draw too much attention to himself. So, when a branch gets stuck in the open gears of his crane, he refuses to make a fuss. At first Harvey ignores the problem and tries to distract Cranky (from noticing the problem) with a game. And then, still too shy to ask for help, Harvey tries to fix his crane himself.

Millie, Glynn and Stephen all love working together at the estate and they help each other out to get all the jobs done. Millie helps in the garden and collecting supplies for the castle, while Stephen and Glynn give visitors tours of the grounds.

Sir Topham Hatt splashes out on a new public address system at Knapford (despite there being nothing wrong with the old one). Edward is dispatched to the scrapyard with the old P.A. and Reg is delighted to have a fully functioning sound system on which to play his music.

Toby is worried when Henrietta has to go to The Steamworks to have her seats refurbished. But Sir Topham Hatt provides a replacement carriage for Toby and her name is Hannah.

Cranky is starting to creak and Salty teases him about his age, joking that Cranky is destined for The Scrap Yard. When Thomas innocently mentions the big, new, shiny cranes that Sir Topham Hatt has seen on The Mainland Cranky starts to imagine that maybe Sir Topham Hatt is planning to replace him with a new model.

Carly is the new crane at Brendam Docks and she is awake early and keen to start working. Cranky tries to be polite and obliging, but very soon he finds himself with nothing to do as Carly busily loads and unloads most of the cars and ships arriving at the docks.

Thomas and Bertie are racing one day, when Bertie has a breakdown. He has to go to the garage and Thomas takes his passengers for him. But when Thomas stops at his first stop one of Bertie's passengers looks worried and he's an old man.

Gordon teases Philip about the number 68 that he has painted on his side, suggesting it's because Philip has broken down 68 times since he came to Sodor. This prompts Philip to try and find out the real reason he is number 68. Unfortunately, nobody he asks seems to know.

One day James comes racing into Knapford and screeches to a stop. Thomas warns him to be careful. James insists that he can't help it and boasts that he's the fastest red engine on Sodor!

One day while James is speeding along his brakes fail and he crashes into Tidmouth Sheds causing serious damage. While the repairs are being carried out Edward is sent to stay at Philip's shed.
