Bristol returns home after a weekend away and has a heated argument with her husband. Cheyenne and Cory close co-parenting relationship causes issues with Cheyenne's boyfriend Zach. Amber welcomes her son James.

Cheyenne's father finds out that her boyfriend Zach lives with her. Maci has an awkward handoff with Ryan's mom, Jen, while Amber realizes that despite her joy as a new mom, she's still struggling with depression.

Bristol tries to stay positive after Dakota moves all her stuff into the guest bedroom and Cheyenne causes a scene at her family's BBQ and misdirects her anger towards her boyfriend Zach. Amber goes to LA for a month.

Bristol lets Tripp go to Alaska with his dad, Levi. Catelynn and Tyler visit Butch in rehab for the amends stage of his program. Gary and Kristina take Leah to visit Amber in LA. Maci finds out that Ryan was arrested

Catelynn finds out that Tyler's sister Amber trashed their old house. Amber's brother travels to LA to meet baby James. Cheyenne and Cory anxiously await results from Ryder's doctor's appointment for her genetic disorder, VLCAD.

Catelynn and Tyler celebrate Carly's birthday, whom they placed for adoption nine years ago and receive disappointing news. Bentley starts the 4th grade while Jen and Larry are relieved when Ryan returns to rehab.

All of the moms fly to New York for press week and it's the first time Amber, Maci and Catelynn meet Cheyenne and Bristol. Meanwhile, Tyler visits Butch in his new sober living home in Austin.

Amber travels to LA for a charity boxing event and Andrew motivates her to step in the ring. Maci takes all the kids to Texas to visit Taylor's family. Catelynn finally takes steps to work on her marriage with Tyler.

Catelynn and Tyler celebrate the gender reveal of their new baby but are still planning to live separately to work on their marriage. Amber continues to struggle with her depression while Gary gets a vasectomy. Cheyenne travels to Michigan

Mackenzie and Ryan welcome their first baby to the world so Maci wants to make sure all the kids have a big, happy, blended family. Bristol feels guilty about Tripp's dwindling relationship with Dakota after the divorce. Amber & Kristina join forces.

Gary finally finds his father while Andrew tries to help Amber with her depression. Cory is jealous when Cheyenne gets attention from an ex-boyfriend. Tyler is eager to start the trial separation but Cate questions if he'll want a divorce after.

Catelynn visits Amber and when she returns home, Tyler moves out to start the trial separation. Bristol seeks advice from a PTSD counselor. Cheyenne and Cory hook up while Maci meets up with Jen and Larry to come up with a plan for when Ryan returns
