Shogun's Mission (Yagyu Abare Tabi)

The Yagyu clan is tasked by the shogun to bring order to the lawless Tokkaido Highway. Munenori Yagyu appointed his third son, Matajuro, to be a secret patrol officer to oversee this task. Meanwhile, Jubei becomes known as the one eyed demon among the people of the village.

Matajuro continues on his journey with Jubei helping him from the shadows. Matajuro meets an estranged father and son in a town run down by corruption.

A mysterious assassin appears in a town where the bridal procession of a princess is currently being held. Matujuro soon learns that there's a much deeper vendetta happening between the assassin and the local minister.

Trapped Mermaid: Things took a dramatic turn when Matajuro and Jubei discovered that a local mafia turned gun smuggler has been supplying a clan with firearms. They must use their wits to prevent this threat from destabilizing the country.

Jubei and Matajuro are investigating a conspiracy revolving the brother of the current shogun. Fueled by jealousy, they suspect he might be steered by someone else to compromise the stability of their clan.

A group of former ninjas banded together to create a group of outlaws called "the devil mask gang". Matajuro was investigating them when an impostor showed up in town claiming to be Jubei Yagyu.

During the new year celebration, The Yagyus find themselves in a town where the townsfolk are celebrating it with an annual beauty pageant. They soon realize that there are rampant corruptions that are going on in this small town.

News about a secret inspector from the Shogunate has spread, The Yagyus need to be on guard now as local clans are keeping an eye on them.

Matajuro is helping an old man who is trying to buy back her daughter's freedom from a loan shark. To their surprise, the daughter refused and chose to stay in servitude.

The whole town is in an uproar due to the mysterious disappearance of a princess. Matajuro and the Yagyus must help them find the princess before the shogun's arrival the following week.

The warlord Takeda Shingen was believed to have hidden 100,000 ryos worth of war funds somewhere around the villages that he controlled. Many people have been looking for this treasure and Matajuro just happened to meet an old man who might be the key to finding it.

Matajuro encountered a thief who stole his wallet in the highway, He led Matajuro to meet his sister so he can pay him back. Little did he know, his sister is already married to a man who might be involved in the underworld.

The war between the Koga and the Iga ninjas carries on. The Koga ninjas are now aiming to challenge the Yagyus, especially upon knowing that Matajuro is traveling along the highway as an inspector.

The Yagyus went to investigate what they suspect to be an illegal rigged gambling den. They soon learned that the den is run by a mysterious woman with a shady history.

The Chogoro gang is terrorizing the town by running various scams and abusing the people. Their tyranny goes unpunished due to the backing they have from corrupt government officials, that is until they cross path with the Yagyu inspectors.

A group of Koga ninjas tried to assassinate Matajuro in his sleep. Meanwhile, a sinister plot is in motion to target the life of the shogun himself.

Jubei encountered Otoyo, a runaway prostitute on the brink of death, and decided to fulfill her dying wish to give money to her mother in the village. Soon he discovered a whole town run by a gang who ensnared young women like Otoyo to forced prostitution.

Matahei lost the sword that is the only clue he has to his father. Upon investigating it further, he unraveled a secret that might compromise The Yagyus.
