Chaarulatha is an official remake of 2007 Thai horror Alone. The story revolves around the Charu and Latha (Priyamani), the conjoined twins who fall in love with same person, played by Skanda. Problems arise between the sisters and they decide to undergo surgery in order to get separated. Latha does not survive the surgery, her untimely death is followed with her spirit trying to take revenge.
