A recently widowed minister is torn between his roles of clergyman and father in this charming and moving seasonal favorite set in post-war Britain. His zeal for attending to parishioners leads him to neglect his own family until emotions boil over. This yuletide classic, based on Wynyard Browne’s play, peaks with the family’s poignant reconciliation as they rediscover the true spirit of Christmas
