When Roy learns that Dorothy Bryant, a new ranch owner, and her friends, are heading his way, he directs them to Gabby's rundown ranch. He figures this will discourage them and they'll go back East, but the plan backfires and Dorothy sells the real ranch at a fraction of its value because she believed it was worthless.
