In the remote Mexican village of El Eco, life consists of the most elementary, basic things. Here, granddaughters movingly take care of their grandmothers until they die. Accompanying three families, documentarian Tatiana Huezo takes a sensitive approach as she brilliantly portrays stories of the care-working matriarchy in a country notorious for its kidnappings of young women and girls.
