Based on a true story, The Captain follows a German army deserter after he finds an abandoned Nazi captain's uniform in the final weeks of WWII. Emboldened by the authority, he amasses a group who cede to his command. Falsely citing orders from the Fuhrer, he takes over a prisoner camp and begins to dispense harsh justice.
