A young man, Charles Beaumont (Robert Frazer) turns to a witch doctor 'Murder' Legendre (Bela Lugosi) to lure the woman he loves, Madeline Short (Madge Bellamy) away from her fiancé John Harron (Neil Parker), but instead turns her into a zombie slave.
