Each year, students attend Tim Doud's Guide School. It's tough & demanding... will they make it? kwadventure kwhunting

The students learn about hauling hay & how critical it is to bear proof camp.

Tension mounts as one student challenges Tim on his teaching style.

One student is close to quitting & an accident occurs during a riding lesson. First aid training comes into play on the mountain... were the students paying close attention in the classroom?

This week the students learn how to pack an animal and ride with the animal behind them.

Final preparations are made to head up into the back country. Will the students handle the rugged ride up the trail?

As the students make their way through the backcountry and set up camp, will they remember their lessons? Who will excel and who will fall behind?

The students get caught in a fast moving mountain storm while they finish setting up camp. They get to test their guiding skills with a mock client during war games that simulate a real elk hunt.

The horses & mules escape & the students confront Tim on his teaching method.

The students continue to learn how to guide clients during a simulation. One student is absent for a day to attend to personal matters.
