Having finally awoken, Takashi returns to his ordinary life where he finds Asuka waiting for him. While on their way home together, Asuka invites Takashi up to her room. Once there, Takashi reveals he is not from this world, but from the kingdom of Gretagard. Hearing Takashi's confession, Asuka shows him the truth.

Takashi decides to face the truth they have been carrying. With Kakeru's help, Takashi retraces his past with Kobato. When Takashi is nearly crushed by the weight of his past, Kobato shows him kindness.
