Akagi

Once there was a man said to be "The Legendary Mahjong Player". His name was Akagi Shigeru. His genius was awakened the first time he played, leading him to defeat a rep player for the yakuza that night. After that night, he went on to defeat player after player, shaking up the entire underworld.

Akagi wagers his lifeblood, Washizu his money in this crazed match of Washizu Mahjong. In the East Hand 4 of Game 1, Washizu wins a mangan hand with tsumo and two doras. Akagi pays 4,000 points and the bonus payment of 400cc of blood are drawn. This was the first time blood was drawn in Washizu's vampire mahjong...

The crazy mahjong battle that will not end until at least one party is completely destroyed -- After the first game, Akagi declares he wants all his winnings in cash, and refuses to transfuse back any blood.

For the East hand 4 of the second game, Akagi refuses to replenish his blood. Washizu, pressured by Akagi's resolve, makes a mistake. As a result, the second game ends in a win for Akagi as well.And then in the East Hand 1 of the third game...

After the fourth game is over, Akagi has won over 300 million Yen. From suffering this huge loss, Washizu is lying on the sofa like a broken man. Washizu's underlings in the white suits, Ougi, Yasuoka all think that the 5th and 6th game won't happen, but Akagi disagrees. He approaches Washizu on the sofa and tells him the break is over, to begin the 5th and 6th game.

Before game 5, Akagi himself destroys the 1,400 cc of blood he had lost so far. The game reaches East Hand 4, where initially it looks like luck is in Akagi's favor. But just before that hand ends in a draw, Yasuoka makes the terrible mistake of shifting the drawing order. Thus Washizu gets a haneman tsumo win, causing Akagi to lose 600 cc of blood. Combined with the 1,400 cc of blood he has...

Game 5, South Hand 4. Akagi secures his top position with a win. Everybody thought he'd go into game 6 on a high note, but to the surprise of everyone else, Akagi decides against that. Game 5 is not over yet...

Akagi tried to end the match in Game 5 by not letting South Hand 4 end, but Washizu makes a getaway in the very last moment. After Game 5 ends, Akagi's side has won an incredible 572.5 million Yen, leaving Washizu with only 27.5 million Yen. Ougi and Yasuoka believe that victory is close, and Yasuoka can't contain his excitement.

In Game 6, East Hand 3, Washizu manages to win a dealer double yakuman (tsuuiisou, shousuushii) and puts a huge gap of almost 100,000 points between himself and Akagi. Only 6 hands to go... The white suits are thrilled and overjoyed at this point gap that is incredibly difficult to overturn in Washizu mahjong.

The battle between Akagi and Washizu that would become the stuff of legends in the underworld of mahjong... Game 6, South Hand 1, 1 Counter: as dealer, Akagi gets a direct mangan hit off Washizu and not only takes all of Washizu's 600 million Yen, but also drives him to a point where he has to have blood withdrawn.
