Angelina Ballerina

Music & Movement - Angelina is having a hard time adjusting to her family’s move to the other side of Chipping Cheddar. She pretends to be her Mom and calls Camembert Academy to say she won’t be attending. After exploring her new home and neighborhood and receiving an encouraging note from Miss Lilly, she starts to embrace the move, but now has to confess her “deception” to her parents.

Music & Movement - Angelina is excited, yet nervous, about her first day of school. When she finds her other classmates proficient in other styles of dance, she tries to imitate what they are doing but without success. When she's true to her own style of dance, she realizes that everyone is different, and that’s a good thing!

Music & Movement The day for Angelina to meet her new ballet teacher, Ms. Mimi, has finally arrived and Angelina is thrilled! Angelina is unsettled when she learns that Ms. Mimi's teaching style is very different than that of her former teacher and mentor, Miss Lilly. In the end, Angelina discovers that there's more than way of teaching things, and there's more than one way to learn.

Music & Movement - Angelina is ecstatic to have the opportunity to dance with her best friend, Alice, at Camembert Academy’s “Dance With a Partner Day.” Angelina likes to choreograph the routine down to the very last detail and Alice is happy to oblige! Unfortunately, when Alice gets the sniffles Angelina must partner with Vici. Angelina learns the importance of collaboration.

Music & Movement - It's Ms. Mimi's birthday, and Angelina wants to give her the best birthday! As hard as they try, all the party plans go comically wrong. They can't even buy a decent gift for their beloved teacher. They end up having a surprise party and Ms. Mimi is delighted. They give her the best gift of all…an improvised song and dance and it turns out to be the best birthday ever!

Angelina loves her new Camembert Academy friends and also loves her old friend Alice. She is certain they will all become best friends and invites everyone to her home for a play date. Angelina is disappointed that things don’t go as smoothly as she had expected. In the end, everyone learns a little about friendship and compromise.

Music & Movement - There's a new mouseling at Camembert Academy named AJ and he loves to dance hip hop. The girls find him and his dance moves interesting, but they don't want him for a ballet partner. It's not until Angelina is reluctantly paired with AJ that she learns that you can't judge a book by its cover.

Music & Movement - When Angelina and Polly accidentally break their dad’s fiddle after ignoring a household rule, they come up with elaborate excuses to get out of trouble. In the end, the girls learn to always tell the truth. They redeem themselves by helping to pay for the fiddle repairs before returning home for some more old dancing fun.

Music & Movement - Angelina has a recital coming up with her class at Camembert and she wants Alice to attend as her special guest. Unfortunately, Alice has an ice skating event the very same night, and she wants Angelina to come watch her! They struggle with the dilemma and ultimately find a way to rush back and forth between the two events.

Music & Movement - Angelina and Alice have been given the task of designing the giant prop for Jackie and the Beanstalk. Angelina gets a bit carried away trying to make the biggest and best giant ever. Subsequently her plans and the Giant come crashing to the ground! But when she clears up the mess, she stumbles upon a much simpler and more effective way of making a big impact!

Music & Movement - Angelina and her friends are putting on a production of "Peter and the Wolf" where each character is identified by a musical riff played on a character specific instrument. When Ms. Mimi comes to rehearsal with laryngitis, she uses these musical riffs as a way to communicate with the mouselings.

Music & Movement - Angelina and her friends are putting on a show, and they each have a specific job they must perform in the show. Angelina thinks that everyone should be interested in what SHE thinks because she is the soloist and in her opinion, hers is the most important role.

Music & Movement - Vici just returned from a holiday in Tippermousy, Ireland. She's excited to teach her friends about Irish music and how to dance an Irish jig. Angelina falls while trying out the tricky steps and breaks the music player. To make it up to Vici, Angelina plans a secret Irish Dance party for her.

Music & Movement - The Mouskinov Ballet is holding auditions for their next show and even though the show needs much older dancers, Angelina does whatever she can do to try out! The dancers are dancing en Pointe, and unfortunately, Angelina’s young joints and muscles just can’t hold her up. Despite her pain, she continues to practice until she can no longer stand.

Music & Movement - At the Chipping Cheddar Music Day Picnic, Angelina finds her friends rehearsing in a band for a school project. They invite her to join in as the tambourine player. She's so excited she immediately thinks her instrument is the most important in the band. That is, until she realizes that she only gets to hit the tambourine once in the whole song.

Music & Movement - Angelina and Alice are having a fun day together but get so wrapped up in their fun they become a little absent minded. It’s just before the big show and she finds herself in a bind when the show is set to begin and she doesn’t have her skates. Through it all, Angelina learns an important lesson about responsibility.

Music & Movement - Angelina wants to help promote the opening of her dad’s new music store with a big party and a musical demonstration. She enlists her musician friends to play some of the instruments that will be sold in the store. Unfortunately, Mrs. Thimble, whose store is right across the street, doesn’t appreciate the loud music because it interferes with her daily nap.

Music & Movement - Ms. Mimi introduces the class to a new drum kit. When Angelina behaves over-exuberantly, she is embarrassed by Ms. Mimi's gentle admonishment. She tries to regain Ms. Mimi's favor, but to do that she misses important rehearsals with her friends. Angelina learns that everyone makes mistakes, and sometimes that’s how we learn!

Music & Movement - Polly adores a book about a little mouseling girl who gets superhero powers when she hears a trumpet fanfare. This makes Polly think that maybe she has super powers too! She gets a fanfare recording from her father, but after humorous testing, it's clear Polly has no superpowers at all. Angelina says everyone is super at something.

Music & Movement - Vici puts together a "Dance Like a Cake" Day where all of her friends have to bring a cake associated with a dance. Angelina has a difficult time deciding what type of dance and cake to present and even has to deal with the disappointment of some of her ideas just not working out. With the help of her friends, ends up being very proud of her final presentation!
