18 Fugitives are released in Federation Square, Melbourne, pursued by Ground Hunters and an elite team of investigators in Hunted headquarters. If the Fugitives manage to evade the Hunters for 21 days they will win a share of $100,000.

The Hunters track Fugitives Jess and Erina to a caravan park in Beechworth while the girls seek refuge at a stranger's house nearby. An injured Angie is en route to Flinders Street train station in Melbourne with her friend Jacque after her teammate Michelle's capture in Geelong. Hunter HQ tracks Jacque's phone to the train station and deploys Ground Hunters Team Charlie to canvass the area.

A hit on Brittany's ATM card leads the Hunters to Emerald, but the Fugitives Karen and Brittany are able to narrowly escape to Cape Paterson with a lift from bed and breakfast owner Carmel. Team Alpha interrogates Carmel on the Fugitives whereabouts and Carmel explains they left with another woman to Melbourne airport in a red 4WD.

With two teams captured, there are seven Fugitive teams remaining spread out across the state of Victoria.

With 13 days of the hunt remaining, six teams are still at large in Victoria. After a raid on a converted church in Newstead leaves the Hunters with more questions than answers.

A Fugitive pair in the wrong place at the wrong time falls foul of bad fortune, as taunts escalate and pressure mounts on those who remain on the run.

With only eight days remaining until extraction, the Hunters are giving the chase everything they've got, honing in on Nick and Lavinia who are finally on their radar.

With only three days until extraction, the Hunters track down two more Fugitives, leaving just three still remaining on the run.

There are 27 hours left until extraction. The remaining three fugitives know the end is in sight and if they can evade capture, they will win a share of $100,000. In their way is the best Hunter team in the world. The Hunters know their professional reputations are on the line and they are determined to get a clean sweep. The Chief promises to throw every resource they have at this final tilt.
