About 10 years ago, Sardar, the leader of Ajab-Gajabpur while coming back panting from his morning walk, spots two human babies, outside a temple. He takes the boys home and with dadi maa's help he raises the twins. Kumbh and Karan are identical twins who stay in small colony of Ajab-Gajabpur. Nestled in the midst of a dense forest, that is located outside the township limits.
