Judge Carles Vallejo, presiding over the “Gangrena Case" encounters a businessman willing to provide evidence that incriminates various politicians and businessmen in a large-scale corruption network. These high-powered individuals are prepared to do everything possible to prevent the truth coming out.

Sara Gradom and her team begin their autopsy analysis on Judge Vallejo. Martí Miró takes great effort not to get involved in the Gangrena Case. The accidental discovery and consequent investigation into a mummified corpse raises questions and intrigue.

Judge Comas is assigned to the Gangrena Case and requests that Roman Palacios is placed under witness protection, but soon realizes that he faces powerful opponents. Convinced there is a mole on his team, he must be careful who in confides in. Meanwhile, it is necessary to find the parents of Kevin Álvarez to confirm the identity of the child murdered 25 years ago.

A press article detailing the illicit activities of Martí and Joana sets alarm bells ringing. Carmen is worried as Martí appears to be closing in on the culprit responsible for leaking files. Querol tries take an opportunity to separate himself from the electoral lists.

Carmen goes into hiding while Martí instructs his head of security to locate her. Víctor manages to unlock Martí's phone and finds new clues.

As Martí searches for some lost property, Judge Comas receives a testimony that implicates Martí in several crimes and misdemeanours. Galán makes a discovery. Victor is determined to find who the mystery initials belong to.
