The 2017 season of New Zealand Rally Championship racing gets off to a dramatic start in the Otago region of New Zealand's South Island. In the DriveSouth Rally of Otago, a record number of cars and teams will give it their all as they navigate 12 challenging stages spread across 2 days.

The New Zealand Rally Championship continues in 2017 with the first forest rally of the season. The Lone Star Rally of Canterbury is a mud-soaked, 122-mile event spread over two days, including two nighttime stages that should prove quite a challenge for all the competitors.

All the stars of New Zealand rally racing, including WRC driver Hayden Paddon, have come out to the beautiful rainforest-covered Coromandel Peninsula to compete in the 2017 Goldrush Rally of Coromandel. Round 4 of the 2017 New Zealand Rally Championship begins near the town of Whitianga and contains three tarmac stages that will be repeated twice before the participants tackle a special stage.

The penultimate round of the 2017 New Zealand Rally Championship begins near the city of Hamilton, the most populous city on the North Island. Rally Waitomo will take the competitors over miles of gravel-surface roads, through lush forests and jungles, and even through the famous limestone Waitomo Caves.

It’s time for the final round of the 2017 New Zealand Rally Championship. Driver Ben Hunt surpassed Matt Summerfield last round at Rally Waitomo by a single point and now both drivers trail behind points leader Andrew Hawkeswood.
