Mako Mermaid

Two young mermaids, Ondina and Mimmi, run away from the Mako Island pod with Sirena to try to turn the merman Zac back into a land boy. But Zac’s connection to Mako is growing stronger. If they fail, they may never break his connection and save Mako for the pod. On the full moon, they attempt to remove his merman powers when his girlfriend Evie comes to the rescue.

When Sirena insists that Mimmi and Ondina remove Evie's new mermaid tail, Mimmi reveals the astonishing range of her powers. She makes Evie morph in the cafe. Zac and Cam must conspire to hide her in the cool room. Zac interrupts Mimmi's spell just in time to stop Evie being discovered as a mermaid. Evie defiantly faces Mimmi and Ondina. They are never to do that to her again.

Die Meerjungfrauen verwenden einen Mondring, um Zacs wachsende Verbindung zu Mako zu untersuchen. Zac hat Visionen von einer uralten Meermannskammer auf Mako, die er erforscht, gefolgt von den besorgten Meerjungfrauen. Als Ondina die Mitte der Kammer betritt, verschwindet sie. Erik findet sie bewusstlos im Dschungel. Ondina und ihre Freunde bestreiten, dass etwas Seltsames passiert.

Erik is keen to get to know more about Ondina. She's not interested in spending time with a land boy. After accidentally transforming into a mermaid in front of Erik, Ondina is devastated. She pleads with Erik to keep the truth about her to himself, however Erik reveals a surprising secret of his own - he is a merman!

Zac und Erik schwimmen zusammen, finden aber Evies Vater, der Touren bei Mako gibt. Ondina warnt Evie davor, ihn aufzuhalten, da Touristen ihr Zuhause bedrohen. Später wird das Boot beschädigt. Zac verdächtigt Ondina, findet aber einen anderen Saboteur.

Cam is on lifeguard duty when Erik quizzes him about Zac's connection to Mako. Erik is splashed and rushes into the ocean, disappearing. Cam paddles out in search of Erik, only to discover that Erik is a merman. Meanwhile, Sirena and Ondina engage in a contest of mermaid powers, whipping up a dangerous storm over the ocean. Cam gets in trouble for losing Erik, but Erik stages a fake rescue.

Zac goes on a camping trip to Mako with his father, on the night of the full moon. Cam and Erik are invited too. Zac has another vision of the merman chamber, shared by Mimmi, who races to Mako with Ondina. They leave Sirena to mind Evie, who falls under the moon-spell, but she escapes and finds Zac in the chamber, which begins to come alive under the full moon.

Mimmi’s insatiable curiosity leads her to land school, where Erik quizzes her about the symbols he saw in the merman chamber, hoping she knows their meaning. Distracted by Erik, Carly accidentally spills a beaker of water on Mimmi and Rita. They race out and transform into mermaids on the school lawn, cloaking just before anyone sees them. Evie and Zac help them make good their escape.

Ondina berichtet dem Meerjungfrauenrat, erwähnt aber weder Erik noch dass Evie jetzt einen Schwanz hat. Eine junge Meerjungfrau namens Neppy folgt Ondina nach Hause und will helfen, Mako zu retten. Mimmi and Sirena try to help David out at the cafe by turning the small crayfish his brother Joe gave him into large crayfish. But they’re interrupted and Mimmi loses her moon ring. Sirena and Mimmi do their best to find it before it’s shipped to China as part of Joe’s export trade. Joe catches Mimmi while she is searching his warehouse. Zac has a vision of her in distress.

On the night of the full moon, Zac is determined to discover the secrets of the merman chamber. Veridia, the head of the Mermaid Council, arrives and uses her power against Zac. She reveals that Zac is a real merman, given up for adoption by none other than Mimmi's mother. Mimmi and Zac are siblings! Mimmi intervenes to save him. Ondina and Rita join Mimmi against Veridia.

Zac struggles to come to terms with the news that he’s a real merman, that he’s adopted and Mimmi is his sister. Mimmi refuses to give up on her newfound brother, but Zac rejects her. A confrontation with some local boys causes Zac to use magic. It looks like he’s about to reveal his secret until Mimmi talks him down. Zac admits to Mimmi he doesn’t know who he is, but the confession is healing.

After Cam absorbs moon pool water, he's thrilled to discover that he has power over water, which gets him a place in the trials for the school swimming team. Zac and Evie try to talk Cam out of competing, but he refuses to listen. When Ondina attempts to remove Cam’s power, she causes water to be uncontrollably attracted to him. Now the race is on for the mermaids.

Ondina sneaks Erik into the grotto to duplicate a pearl he gave her with magic she has learned from Mimmi. But Ondina accidentally turns Erik into a copy of Poseidon and when she attempts to reverse the spell, she turns the two cats into four. Three cats escape from the grotto and the mermaids must find them and change them back, otherwise Erik may be stuck as a cat forever.

Cam erkennt, dass die Form des Sockels in der Meermannkammer mit der von Mako Island identisch ist und dass fünf dekorative Intarsien auf dem Podest fünf Felsvorsprüngen am Mako-Riff entsprechen. When Sirena sees an online video that shows a kayaker being lured by a Northern mermaid’s song, she becomes enchanted. She starts to follow David obsessively, even disrupting him at school during an exam. By the time Mimmi works out what has happened, David has already fallen under Sirena’s spell and she is luring him into the moon pool. The mermaids are just in time to prevent disaster.

Eine Überraschungs-Geburtstagsparty für Evie ist in Planung, aber Zac ist so verschwiegen, dass sie denkt, er hätte es vergessen. Ondina nimmt einen Job im Café an, wo sie mit Erik zusammenarbeiten und sich um Kunden kümmern muss. Die Beziehung zwischen Mimmi und Chris entwickelt sich, als sie ihm hilft, den Umgang mit Delfinen zu lernen. Chris bekommt den Job und muss gehen.

On the night of the full moon, Zac and Ondina sneak away to Mako. Veridia has made a deal with Ondina to destroy the chamber. Zac is in the process of activating the chamber when Ondina reveals her plan and Mimmi, Sirena, Evie and Erik arrive. A hologram appears revealing that one more element is needed to complete the activation - the trident, which was lost. The chamber cannot be activated.

Ondina doesn't want to choose between Erik and the pod when the pod returns. To cheer her up, Erik decides to throw a party in the café. But hiring the café is expensive and when Rita's precious pendant disappears, Mimmi falsely accuses Erik of stealing. The party is a success - Cam and Carly even share their first kiss. Mimmi's suspicion makes Ondina realise that the pod will never accept Erik.

Ondina und Mimmi sind sich uneins über Ondinas Entscheidung, an Land zu bleiben. Im Meerespark geraten sie in Schwierigkeiten, als ein Delfin sie bespritzt und ein kleines Mädchen sieht, wie sie sich in Meerjungfrauen verwandeln. Sirena kommt gerade rechtzeitig, um für Ablenkung zu sorgen. Das Abenteuer erinnert die Meerjungfrauen daran, wie wichtig sie füreinander sind.

Evie has come down with a fever, which results in a soaring room temperature and flaming sneezes. Carly notices the strange phenomena around Evie. She’s concerned that Evie is keeping a secret from her. The mermaids create a cure that backfires, turning Evie’s fever into an icy chill, which freezes Cam when Evie accidentally sneezes on him. Carly discovers the truth.

Erik learns that the trident stone still exists. It’s the missing element needed to activate the merman chamber. Zac retrieves the stone and gives it to the mermaids for safekeeping. Mimmi surprises Erik when he searches the grotto. Erik finds the stone and challenges Mimmi. When Zac comes to Mimmi's aid, Erik uses the stone to draw out Zac’s power, leaving Zac without magic.
