Leandro Díaz

Leandro Díaz travels to the Foundation Festival. For her part, Matilde Lina, in opposition to her husband, escapes to the town festival. On the banks of the river, Matilde and Leandro meet; and then, in love, Leandro proposes to Matilde that they escape together.

In the middle of the festival crowd, Leandro tries to defend himself and ends up hitting a police officer, who imprisons him. Matilde Lina, at the train station; awaits Leandro's arrival.

We go back to Leandro's childhood. Remedios sends Erotida to Los Pajales to the family home of little Leandro who suffers the contempt of his father and brothers for being blind. Later at the river, Leandro and Arturo fight; and Onofre as punishment sends him to his uncle Laureano.

Chico helps Nacha recover some of the money to take Leandro to the doctor. Later, the doctor diagnoses Leandro and tells Onofre that there is no cure for his condition. Onofre, furious, decides to kick Erotida out of his house.

Leandro is left alone in Los Pajales with his brother Jaime when a strong storm hits. The next day, the two children go to Uncle Laureano's house for food, but they run into the harsh current of the river.

Leandro falls ill; Uncle Laureano finds the children and takes them to Hato Nuevo. Later, Leandro composes a harsh song to his mother for leaving them alone. At Pedro's order, Erotida returns to stay in Los Pajales.

Leandro settles the debt with the Barlettas and helps Tomasa. Later Nacha surprises Onofre and Tomasa kissing. After 10 years, Leandro meets Magdalena.

Onofre and Arturo manage to buy the land of Los Pajales. On the other hand, Leandro and Magdalena kiss. Later, Arturo argues with Onofre upon hearing that he wants to build a house for Tomasa and his son Urbano.

Pello does everything possible to separate Magdalena from Leandro, but they meet in secret. Later, Arturo meets Pello. Onofre decides to take out a loan and puts his land as collateral. Leandro is happy because they ask him to play with José Luis, however, Arturo and Pello plan to overshadow him.

Pello, Arturo and Onofre try to ridicule Leandro at the event with José Luis. For her part, Magdalena hides from Pello, but Ciro notices the pearls that she has dropped. Finally, Leandro challenges Pello to a piquería and defeats him; Pello feels ridiculed.

Leandro finds out about Magdalena's betrayal and is very hurt. For their part, Arturo and Pello decide to get involved in smuggling businesses. Later, Leandro gets drunk in the square and shows his contempt for Magdalena. Tomasa then helps Leandro, who, by mistake, receives a beating from Onofre. Arturo finds himself in trouble with the smuggling truck.

Arturo negotiates with the police and walks away. Later, Magdalena suffers public ridicule because a rumor spreads that she was with Pello and Leandro; She becomes convinced that Leandro is the culprit. Later, Leandro proposes a deal to Pello in favor of Magdalena. Due to Onofre's health, Arturo suggests that they go to Tocaimo. Leandro and Magdalena reconcile.

Leandro stays in Los Pajales and invites Magdalena to live with him. On the other hand, Moisés continues trying to control Matilde Lina. Some time later, Leandro finds himself having trouble getting introductions; Because of this he sings in Tomasa's store, but the drunks scare away the people. Later, Arturo and Genaro team up to steal cattle.

Arturo wants to impress Gala, a woman with a lot of money. On the other hand, Leandro, seeing himself frustrated, accepts Laureano's proposal and heads towards Tocaimo, but not before saying goodbye sadly to Magdalena. He promises her that he will send someone for her later. Later, Erótida realizes Tomás and Óscar's homosexuality; the woman is very hurt.

It is confirmed that Matilde is pregnant. While Moses is away; Matilde loses her baby. In Tocaimo, Leandro reunites with Chico, and meets Reinaldo. Arturo manages to be invited to a party and impresses Gala, but he does not count on meeting Leandro, Chico and Reinaldo, who are part of the vallenato group that is on stage. Erótida decides to denounce Tomás.

Moisés appears after a while and; Upon learning of Matilde's loss, he blames her for it. The musical ensemble of Leandro, Chico and Reinaldo becomes a success. Leandro decides to give Magdalena a ring, however, she feels guilty for having slept with Pello. Then, Arturo tries to steal a cow and when he is fleeing he crosses paths with Don Julio. Later, Magdalena decides to tell Leandro about her relationship with Pello. Leandro, hurt, dedicates the song “La Ford Modelo” to her.

Matilde does not want to let herself be dominated by Moisés. On the other hand, Gala's father gives Arturo hope of being able to win her over. Tomasa tries to convince Nacha to rebel against Onofre. Later, Leandro receives a visit from his grandfather, who encourages him. The next day, Nacha tells Leandro that his grandfather has died in Fundación.

Don Julio plans a family meeting to help Arturo get closer to Gala. For his part, Onofre convinces Nacha to return to the house and sends Tomasa to Laureano. Later, Matilde decides to learn to drive and while she is on the road, she suffers an accident that involves the car in which Arturo and Leandro are traveling.

Arturo manages to conquer Gala and he is excited and asks Onofre to leave so that Leandro can sing. While Leandro sings, Gala tries to change her song, but he doesn't like the gesture. After complaining to him, Gala asks that Leandro be removed from his place and, in his displeasure, he composes the song “The Crowned Goddess” for her. Later, Matilde decides to ask Moisés for a divorce.

Julio supports Leandro with his new song and offers him sponsorship to record it. On the other hand, Matilde and Moisés reconcile. Later, Tomasa suspects that Arturo is on the wrong track and because of this, he decides to follow Gerardo; There he discovers details of his past and tells everything to Onofre and Nacha.

Moisés and Leandro suffer from smallpox. Matilde, for her part, is dedicated to taking care of her husband. Meanwhile, Nacha decides to take care of her son Leandro, who thanks her when he improves by composing “La pox.” Later, Arturo tries to persuade Gerardo to desist from stealing cattle, since he realizes that it is the property of the Pantojas.

Before the arrival of Olympus, Arturo decides to leave the way clear for Gala. Moisés lies to Matilde about Plácida. On the other hand, Erótida and Mauricio talk about what their lives could have been. Despite his dysphonia, Leandro continues with his plans to record the album. Nacha, happy with her reconciliation with Leandro, convinces Onofre to approach her son as well.

Thanks to Reinaldo, Leandro recovers his voice. On the other hand, Arturo is exposed to the Pantojas. Don Julio, with rage over the cattle theft issue; threatens Arturo and his family. Onofre, Nacha, Tomasa and Urbano return to Los Pajales. When Arturo arrives, he denies being the author of the robbery, however, Onofre is not convinced.
