Rebellion

Ireland natives face emotional and physical turmoil as they decide to take up arms against the British.

The Rising is off. Frances refuses to accept that her dream is in tatters while Elizabeth resigns herself to a marriage to Stephen.

The rebels start to feel the wrath of the British Empire which leads to increasing loss of life and destruction of property on all sides.

The city has been leveled by British bombardment. The rebels are cornered and eventually surrender and wait to hear their fate.

As Frances, May & Aunt Nellie are being terrorized by Detective Coleman, May tries to turn herself in to the authorities.
