Thomas & Friends - Seasons 18, 19, 20, 21

Emily thinks all the other engines are pulling much more exciting loads then she is, so when she is given a huge globe to transport she decides to show it off. But as she heads off around the island, the huge globe gets knocked off her flatbed and rolls around causing confusion and delay before she manages to get it back again.

One day Bill and Ben tell Timothy he needs to find a truck that is blue and red and yellow and brown. Bill and Ben insist the truck is real, so Timothy sets off to look for it. Bill and Ben think they are very funny, but Timothy has the last laugh when he actually finds some trucks that match their description and brings back smelly rubbish trucks bound for the dump.

Marion has been digging along the mainline and is spending the night sleeping on a siding. A sound wakes her up and she sees a long line of dinosaurs going past in the moonlight! Marion thinks it must be a dream and tells Thomas as much the next day. Thankfully, she discovers that they're actually model dinosaurs for Earl's new Dinosaur Park!

The first time Samson came to Sodor he got lost. But Samson is a very proud engine and he doesn't like to admit his mistakes. So he finds it very hard to listen to the other engines trying to warn him that he is making a mistake again when he accidentally takes Gordon's Express Coaches to the quarry, instead of the trucks used for carrying stone.

When Scruff breaks down and has to be sent to the Steamworks, Samson is given the job of collecting up the track-side scrap. But Samson ends up taking his new responsibilities a little too seriously and collects up everything from the postman's bike to the Fat Controller's car. The Fat Controller has to race off to save it before it ends up getting crunched by Reg's claw!

Harvey and the new engine Samson are putting the dinosaur models in place for the Earl's new Dinosaur Park. One of the dinosaurs swings towards Millie and gives her a fright. Samson and Harvey laugh, but Millie gets her own back by asking the groundsman to set his bonfire behind the model of the volcano and making them both think it's erupting!

When Thomas causes a small accident by being silly he is so embarrassed that he blames it on someone else, called Geoffrey. But Thomas' imaginary engine raises a lot of questions from his friends and soon Thomas is describing what Geoffrey looks like too. When the Fat Controller wants to meet this new engine Thomas realises that his story may have got a little out of hand!

The Fat Controller sends Thomas to collect a very important Christmas parcel, but Cranky drops it and thinks it must be broken. He tries to hide it from Thomas so that nobody will find out. But Thomas sets off to deliver it and slips on the icy tracks and thinks he must have broken it too. When the Fat Controller opens the parcel, the package turns out to be a surprise for Thomas and Cranky too!

Kevin is excited by the snow, but Victor doesn't like it at all. He explains to Kevin that the snow is causing trouble. When Kevin goes outside, snow falls off the roof trapping him. Victor thinks Kevin's gone to try to fetch the truck from the depot and sets off to rescue him. Luckily, Thomas has been sent to the depot too and is able to find Victor before anyone else gets stuck in the snow!

Toby refuses to fill up with coal just because Henrietta keeps reminding him. He leaves her behind and sets off to take some trucks to the Scrapyard, but ends up running out of coal. Toby needs someone to stop and give him coal, but it is hard to see amongst the scrap. Reg tries to help him, but when the other engines see Toby, they get the wrong idea and soon a rumour spreads across the island.

When railway inspectors come to the Island of Sodor, they start their inspection on Thomas' line. Thomas, Annie and Clarabel are keen to show what they can do, but there are nothing but problems. To make matters worse, one of the inspectors is grumpy. When Annie discovers that he's left his gold watch on her seat, Thomas sets out to return it and that impresses the grumpy inspector.

When Henry hears that the Fat Controller's grandchildren have chickenpox, he worries about whether engines can get chickenpox too. Then he meets Thomas who has been splattered with mud and is carrying a wagon of chickens, and becomes convinced of it! It's not until the end of the day that poor Henry discovers that chickenpox is not really a problem for engines after all!

When Toad spots a whale on the beach, Oliver doesn't believe him. Luckily Thomas does. He thinks the whale needs help, so they tell the Fat Controller. Butch tries to drag the whale back to the water, but the tide is too far out and it's decided to transport the whale by rail to release it back into the water there. Oliver carries the whale on a flatbed and Toad sings to it to keep it calm.

Percy is late to collect some sheep for an agricultural fair and bumps the wagon in his rush to be coupled up, backing into other trucks behind him. One by one the sheep escape without Percy realising. Thomas passes Percy and discovers the sheep and is forced to top and collect them. But the only place for the sheep to ride is in Annie or Clarabel!

When snow strands Spencer on Sodor, he delights in boasting to the other engines by talking about meeting the abominable snowman. The next day Spencer is reluctantly put to work helping Henry and he delights in teasing Henry about the abominable snowman again. Luckily the snow-covered man turns out to be the Fat Controller.

Salty loves to talk about things like sea monsters, then one day the Fat Controller decides to lend Salty a hand on the mainland. Salty is happy to help, until he hears that the bridge is out and that he must travel by ship. Than Salty's wild imagination gets the better of him and he runs away. His scary stories have scared him too and now he's the one who has to overcome his fears!

Diesel is not a helpful engine, but at Christmas when there is so much extra work to be done, his unhelpfulness is unwelcome. Over the course of the next few days Diesel is visited by what appear to be 'ghostly engines' who remind him just how unhelpful he has been in the past. When Diesel becomes derailed himself and fears that he could be abandoned the message finally hits home.

Den and Dart are a team and the best of friends. They work together at the Dieselworks and are rarely separated. But when Mavis has an accident and is sent for repair the Fat Controller needs a replacement engine to work at the quarry. Dart isn't too happy about working on his own at the quarry, but with the help from new friends both Den and Dart manage to cope with being separated.

Thomas first met Hiro when he found him left unrepaired and abandoned in some woods. When Thomas spills some cargo causing Hiro to be derailed, he is very upset. Hiro is sent to the Steamworks and Thomas worries that he will be there for a long time, so he goes back to the woods to see if he can find anything there that will help.

Stephen is the oldest engine on the Island of Sodor and people love to see him. He's still called the Rocket, though he's much slower than the other engines. Sometimes they have to slow down for him, which Gordon in particular doesn't like. But it's because Stephen travels so slowly that he notices that the Suspension Bridge is damaged and manages to alert the other engines in time.

Bertie, Thomas and Spencer get into a debate about how many wheels is best. But when Spencer breaks down, Thomas must transport his passengers instead. Then Thomas finds the track blocked and Bertie takes over. And when Bertie has a flat tyre who should turn up, but the Thin Controller.

On match days Thomas is a popular engine, because the Sodor football team wear blue. One match day, a mainland team come to the island wearing red. But by refusing to pick up supporters wearing the wrong colours, James ends up leaving the rival football team at the station and Thomas rushes right past the Fat Controller who is supposed to be the match referee.

When Emily breaks down and disrupts a race between Connor and Caitlin, Caitlin shunts Emily to the castle causing Emily to travel faster than she ever has been before. But when Caitlin's brakes fail, Emily races to save her from an accident proving that she too can be a really useful Engine.
