The North Yorkshire Moors Railway is about to open its door for a new season. To pull in the punters they've hired in star steam engine, Royal Scot, to headline for the week. For General Manager Chris, it's an expensive gamble.

It's the start of the Easter timetable at the North Yorkshire Moors Railway and Marketing Manager Laura has come up with a plan to attract school teachers to the heritage line. She's issued 'teachers go free vouchers' over the weekend in the hope they'll like what they see and return with school groups in term time.

The busy summer season is looming and the question on everyone's lips is, does the railway have enough operational steam trains to deliver a full steam service? All the steam engines are between 60 and 99 years old, so there's always something to fix.
