An angel rescues Mirai Kakehashi during a suicide attempt, then bestows incredible powers upon him, so that he might improve his lot in life.

Mirai learns about two other candidates to become God: a comedian who uses Red Arrows to make women fall in love with him, and a masked super hero who skills anyone that stands in his way.

Mirai and Mukaido use their Wings to fly to Grand Tower, where a sinister trap has been laid. Their enemy Metropoliman appears from within the shroud of smoke. Mirai finally directly confronts Metropoliman, who scornfully calls him a small fry who lacks the courage to fight. However, once Mirai is cornered, he acts in an unexpected way. Mirai risks his own life to shoot an Arrow, and...

The battle they just had at Grand Tower cast a shadow on Mirai and the others in many ways. Saki, who wasn't able to participate in the fight, seems to be bothered by something. Meanwhile, Metropoliman seems to be plotting his next move as well.

Saki shoots Hajime with a Red Arrow, and things seem to be looking up for Mirai and Mukaido. However, the situation takes a turn for the worse when Metropoliman summons more bloodthirsty and unhinged allies to join the fight.
